Dina Coletti, a senior BA in Digital Arts & Sciences student, spent her summer as a Graphic Design Intern for Bazar, a company that helps independent fashion creators open their own online clothing shops.

As a member of Bazar’s design team, Dina designed social media campaigns, created newsletter graphics, and assisted with the brand’s visual development. Her design abilities, which she demonstrated as Design Director for Strike Magazine Gainesville, piqued the interest of one of Bazar’s founders, who reached out to her via social media to offer her the position.

Due to the position being remote, Dina kept a dedicated workspace so she could work effectively from home. She said this remote position was a valuable learning experience for her when it came to time management and work-life balance.

“Being a remote worker presents the obstacle of learning when to separate your work from your personal life,” Coletti said. “I think this has always been a struggle for me as an artist, but this position helped me better understand when to step away and give myself the time to rest so I can continue creating daily.”
